  1. Place Dashi Stock (OR Water & Dashi Powder) into a saucepan, add Mirin and Soy Sauce, and bring it to the boil. Keep boiling for a few minutes. Then remove from heat and allow to cool..
  2. *Note: ’Mentsuyu’ (Noodle Dipping Sauce) is almost identical to this sauce. See my ‘Mentsuyu’ recipe for a better method. (see recipe).
