So, never one to settle, I’ve changed jobs… again. As much as I was excited to start my job in marketing I realized about twenty minutes into my day that it just wasn’t for me. As much as I hate the financial instability that comes with freelancing- and there is financial instability that comes with it- it’s what I love doing. And I’m happy that I’m back doing it.
I’ve also had the privilege of taking on some new projects that I’m really excited about. In addition to an interactive project that I’m writing, and some anthologies that I’ll be submitting to, I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I’ve stepped in as co-producer of the podcast series The Lift.
The first season was nominated for a Parsec Award, and I’m hoping to make the second installment of this show just as incredible. Dan Foytik (the creator of the series) and I have managed to get some really incredible writers on board for the upcoming season, and I can’t wait for the show’s launch.
I’ve also started working on my book, which is (at best) coming along at a snail’s pace. But it’s moving, and that’s what counts. Probably.
July’s been an incredible month and I can’t wait to see what’s in store come August. Hope you’ve all be doing well.
