It’s never easy quitting a job.
Ok, that’s a lie. Some jobs are only too easy to quit, and the real challenge is trying to stick them out.
Fortunately that wasn’t the case with the job I left today. I’ve worked as a journalist for Shalom Life for just over a year now. This Jewish lifestyle publication took a chance on me, a Wiccan writer, when no one else would and I’ll forever be grateful to them. They showed me the ropes of journalism, helped me build up my portfolio, and allowed me to work with some incredible people. I’m definitely going to miss them. This past weekend was the Ottawa Comiccon, and holly hell was it amazing! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it on the Friday or Saturday, but I attended the convention for all of Sunday and it was easily one of the greatest conventions I’ve been to.
